Yes, the Hydroxyapatite Brick Tile is specifically tested for the GCC climate. The 12mm thickness and high-density brick material provide excellent thermal stability, ensuring the facade brick does not warp or degrade under intense UV exposure and high temperatures common in Dubai. Our Jebel Ali facility ensures all products meet local environmental stress standards.
What is the recommended installation method for exterior cladding?
We recommend using a high-quality, C2-grade flexible tile adhesive suitable for the UAE's temperature fluctuations. Ensure the substrate is clean and primed. For exterior brick cladding, a 5-10mm grout joint is advised to accommodate thermal expansion and provide a traditional masonry aesthetic. Mechanical fixing is generally not required for this 12mm thickness.
Are these tiles suitable for wet areas like bathrooms?
While primarily used for feature walls and facades, they can be used in bathrooms if properly sealed. We recommend applying a breathable, penetrating sealer to prevent moisture absorption while maintaining the natural matte finish of the Hydroxyapatite series. This ensures the material remains easy to clean in high-humidity environments.
