What is the recommended grout width for the PBS046 series?
To achieve a traditional masonry appearance, we recommend a grout joint of 8mm to 12mm. This spacing allows for the natural variations in the brick edges to be showcased while providing structural integrity. Prastara offers a library of over 500 finishes and can recommend specific grout tones to either match the brick for a monolithic look or contrast it for a classic industrial aesthetic. Proper grouting also helps in managing thermal expansion in outdoor environments.
Are these tiles suitable for wet areas like bathrooms or pool surrounds?
While the tiles are highly durable and suitable for outdoor use, natural brick is porous. For use in bathrooms or near pools, we mandate the application of a high-quality water-repellent sealer. This prevents efflorescence and water spotting while maintaining the brick's natural breathability.
