What is the maximum cutting thickness?

Our fiber laser systems cut up to 20mm mild steel, 12mm stainless steel, and 20mm aluminum. For thicker materials, we use CNC plasma cutting (up to 50mm) or waterjet cutting for heat-sensitive applications.

Our CNC laser cutting achieves tolerances of ±0.1mm for precision work. Standard architectural tolerances of ±0.5mm are easily maintained across large panels. We calibrate machines daily and provide measurement reports on request.

What file formats do you accept for CNC cutting?

Accepted Answer

We accept DXF, DWG, AI, and PDF files. Vector files preferred for clean toolpaths. We can also work from parametric models (Grasshopper, Dynamo) and convert raster images to vector patterns for perforation.

What is the minimum feature size for laser cutting?

Accepted Answer

Minimum web (material between cuts) varies by material: 2mm for aluminum, 3mm for stainless steel. Minimum hole diameter equals material thickness for structural panels. Finer features possible for non-structural decorative work.
